Think of all the great stories running around in your head because you have completed your Map of Your Life. Pick one of your stories to tell as a personal narrative.
Remember:
· Personal narratives are told from your point of view; you may use “I”.
· Narratives tell the story of one event.
· Narratives have a beginning, middle, and end organization.
Challenge:
· Include dialogue, figurative language, and/or sensory details.
· Demonstrate your knowledge of hooks and strong endings.
- Open a new Microsoft Word Document.
- Read this page and write the essay.
- Save the essay to your H drive.
- Email the essay to Ms. Hutton ([email protected]).
